Fishery experts from all over the world will assemble at the Global Fishery Forum

Representatives of the world’s largest fisheries and food organizations confirmed their participation in the Second Global Fishery Forum. In 2018, the Forum’s topic is ‘Global Fishing Activities 2050: resources, markets, technologies’. An extensive discussion of issues in international cooperation in long-term planning and management of fish resources is planned for the Forum. “Given the integration of Russian fisheries in global fishing, collaboration with foreign partners and international fisheries organizations is of great significance. A Series of Environmental Events Will Be Held in Chelyabinsk in the Run-up to the SCO and BRICS Summits A series of measures designed to improve the environmental situation in the city will be held in Chelyabinsk as part of the preparation for the SCO and BRICS summits which will take place in 2019–2020. According to the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Boris Dubrovsky, a roadmap has been drafted for improving the environmental situation, the air quality, urban greening and the city's amenities. In particular, the project involves environmental protection measures at industrial plants on reducing harmful emissions.
